This project has the target to improve and modernize the student computer environment. Some of the main project goals are:

• Improve stability and security
• Increase manageability level to be able to populate changes to the student workstations
• Implement a license management layer to lower the license costs
• Communication, better documentation and introduction to the BAUWELT systems

The departmental web site has to be migrated to the new CQ5 web site. Further a central knowledge and help point relating CQ5 should be established to provide support to the institutes.

To improve problem and incident management, a trouble ticket system has to be implemented on a departmental level.

To sustainably improve and optimize the communication between the IT specialists within the department, several communication platforms have to be implemented.
